BACKGROUND

MBDA recognizes the challenges facing minority businesses today in accessing capital for their business operations, expansion, and acquisition efforts. The Capital Access Forum is a quarterly event that will bring financial institutions such as banks, capital investment companies, angel investors, and government agencies, to meet with qualified minority business enterprises to explore potential deals that can benefit both sides.

Invited MBEs are expected to provide a one page summary of their companies (template will be provided) ahead of the meeting. Each MBE will be given 10 minutes to present the company and its financial needs. Cabrera will be available for one-on-one meetings in the afternoon if needed.
